How it works
1. A parent account, a profile for each child
You sign in with your email address: we send a one-time link, so there is no password to remember. You add each child with a nickname and year group. Children never need an email address. On your device you choose who is practising, and only one device can practise for a child at a time.
2. The free diagnostic
Forty questions, ten from each module, from easy to hard, chosen from our topic practice when your child starts. It takes about 30 minutes at the reported pace. The report shows a score for each module and each topic, and the topics to practise first.
3. Full mocks at reported timings
A full mock follows the format the school describes in public information: English, mathematics and non-verbal reasoning, one after another, with a short break between them. Timings and question counts are based on publicly reported information. A four-module option adds verbal reasoning for extra practice.
- Answers save the moment they are chosen, so a closed tab or a dropped connection loses nothing.
- A visible clock per module, a warning before submitting with blanks, and automatic submission at zero.
- Reading passages sit beside their questions on a laptop or tablet.
- Every question can be marked for review, and reported if something looks wrong.
4. Adaptive practice and topic drills
Adaptive practice serves one question at a time. Two right answers in a row and the next one is harder; a wrong answer and the next one is easier. Your child sees the answer and a worked explanation straight away. Topic drills go deep on one topic at a time.
5. The study plan
The plan counts back from your child's exam date: which full mock and which drills each week. It is rebuilt after every paper, so mocks already sat drop out and the weakest topics move to the front. It keeps to a calm pace: at most three full mocks a week, and one in the final week.
6. The parent dashboard
For each child: days to the exam, mastery by topic, the weakest topics, what to drill next, average time per question against the reported pace, and every score over time. If your child has an access arrangement, one switch gives 25% extra time on every timer.
7. What we will not do
We do not predict a pass or a place. Bands on results are a practice guide. We are not affiliated with the school or any test publisher, and the practice is online only, with your child's nickname shown faintly across the questions, to keep the material fair for every family.
